Oh, soooo happy!!! Yesterday I was feeling the squeeze--too much to do, not enough time to do it all. You know the feeling. Report cards had to be ready for today. Christmas is just 19 days away. Kids have homework and activities and need to be fed--oh, my!
Getting ready to go to Washington, D.C. to meet up with the Hub for his company's Christmas party. Will be fun! But the prep...2 days of sub plans, handoff info to my MIL, a night-before band concert. I was feeling a little woozy just thinking about it all. Then the internet connection went down and it hit me like a bolt from the blue--hire someone to help with the cleaning, Katy!
Two seconds later I had emailed a neighbor for one reference and texted a friend for another. Today, I made the calls and in TWO WEEKS someone else will actually come and clean my home.
A moment of silence, please.
I don't take this lightly. My frugal nature is convinced it's a waste of money as I surely can take care of my own home!
And yet...on the 8th week of Robert traveling (excepting Thanksgiving week), I am more than ready to admit it--something has GOT to give!
Will it be "worth it" to delegate deep cleaning to someone else? Not sure. For now I'm considering it a Christmas gift...and, frankly, it's exactly what I want!
